Sewing Pics! Mom's Colorful Baby Blanket

My mother just finished a chenille baby blanket and it was so pretty, I had to post a few photos.

The bright colors are so fun and it's great high contrast for a newborn. And for a boy, something outside of the norm. 

The only comment she made, was that she wished she would have added a "backing" fabric behind the chenille rows because she didn't like how you can see the reverse side of the dot material between the rows. You can sort of see what she's talking about in the second photo if you look closely. Something the recipient would never notice, just the perfectionist who made it.  =)
